Card Details
Mana CostCharacter Background
Shielded by Faith is a strong support piece for white-based value and midrange decks that want to keep a key threat alive while steadily widening the board. At three mana, it looks like a simple protection Aura, but the real power is its ability to move itself whenever any creature enters, turning every new body into a potential indestructible carrier. That makes it excellent in token decks, blink shells, and go-wide strategies where creatures are entering repeatedly and you can always reassign the shield to your best attacker, utility creature, or combo piece. It also pairs nicely with sacrifice or bounce engines, since you can keep reattaching it to whatever matters most. In gameplay terms, this is less about explosive tempo and more about resilient value, frustrating removal-heavy control decks and forcing opponents to rely on exile, bounce, or edicts instead of damage-based answers.
