Mirrorform
Oracle Text
Each nonland permanent you control becomes a copy of target non-Aura permanent.
Card Details
Mana CostCharacter Background
Mirrorform is a mythic instant that screams late-game control or combo payoff: at six mana, it asks for patience, then threatens to turn every permanent you control into the best non-Aura permanent on the battlefield. In practical terms, it can overwrite a modest board with an army of copied mana rocks, utility creatures, token engines, or even your own planeswalker if the target is legal and desirable, creating explosive card advantage and board dominance in one swing. The strongest builds will lean into permanents with powerful enters-the-battlefield abilities or static effects, since each copy inherits the target’s identity and can compound value immediately. In deckbuilding, pair Mirrorform with artifact-heavy shells, blink support, or token makers so you already have a resilient board to transform. Its flavor feels very Lorwyn-adjacent: a spell of shifting reflections and doubled realities, elegant but dangerous, rewarding players who can stage the perfect mirror and then break it.
