Card Details
Mana CostCharacter Background
A Girl and Her Dogs is a straightforward value engine that fits best in white midrange or go-wide control shells, where repeated token production turns a modest 3/3 into a steady board presence. On entry and every upkeep, it creates a 1/1 legendary Dog, which means the card naturally snowballs if left unanswered and also gives you a stream of bodies for chump blocks, sacrifice outlets, or anthem effects. The attack trigger rewards legendary density, so this card plays especially well alongside commanders or support cards that make additional legendary creatures, letting it swing as a real threat rather than just a token maker. In deckbuilding, prioritize legends that are useful on their own and cards that care about creature count or token names, since each Dog is individually legendary and can enable niche interactions. The flavor is charmingly simple: a lone figure whose bond with her dogs grows into an organized pack, and the gameplay mirrors that persistent, loyal accumulation.
