Ood Sphere
Oracle Text
Song of the Ood — Noncreature spells have convoke. (A player's creatures can help cast those spells. Each creature they tap while casting a noncreature spell pays for {1} or one mana of that creature's color.)
Red-Eye — Whenever chaos ensues, for each opponent, goad up to one target creature that opponent controls. Until your next turn, those creatures can't become tapped unless they're being declared as attackers.

Character Background
Ood Sphere is a deceptively powerful Plane for any deck built to turn board presence into spell velocity, especially value and tempo strategies that want to double-dip on creatures. Song of the Ood gives all your noncreature spells convoke, so token makers, recursive creatures, and cheap bodies become ramp pieces that let you cast interaction or payoffs far ahead of curve. That makes it excellent in go-wide shells, but also in control decks that want to keep mana open and still develop. The chaos ability adds a disruptive edge: each time chaos ensues, you can force each opponent to attack with a key creature, then keep those creatures from tapping for noncombat purposes, which can blunt mana dorks, utility creatures, and defensive setups. Pair it with tokens, untap effects, and spells that matter at instant speed, and Ood Sphere becomes a strong pressure tool that rewards careful sequencing and board management.
