Character Background
Dimension X Pizzasaur looks like a wonderfully strange value creature that slots best into black-based midrange or control shells, where every body also doubles as removal and drain. Entering the battlefield to place two +1/+1 counters on a target creature lets you immediately buff a threat, enable combat math, or supercharge a creature with counter synergies, and the follow-up destroy effect rewards you for already having counters on permanents you control. That makes it especially strong in decks built around +1/+1 counter themes, sagas, or modular-style resource accumulation, since the removal can scale beyond a simple “enter and kill” trigger. The sacrifice ability gives it late-game utility too, turning an otherwise modest 2/1 into a life swing that stabilizes against aggro. In practice, this card wants you to play a grindy board-control game: develop one or two counter-heavy permanents, then use Dimension X Pizzasaur to swing tempo while padding your life total.
